Biografia

·         Born in February 16-th 1950 in Borsa, district Cluj

·         Graduate of the 'Ion Andreescu' Institute of Fine Arts Cluj, Faculty: Drawing 1972

·         Debut 1973

·         After 1973, he took part in the important exhibition organized by the Union of Plastic Artists   ....from Romania, Subsidiary Baia Mare

·         He has been member of Plastic Artists from Romania since 1981

At this camp Mircea Bochis is inviting the following romanian artists : Aurelian Bolea , Radu Dumitru , Ion Deac Bistrita , Laurentiu Mogosanu , Mihai Ecobici , Darie Dup , Aurel Cucu , Traian Moldovan , Ion Iancut • Mircea Bochis has realized five monumental sculptures.Work materials was : Cararra Marble (Ilaly) , White Marble of Brazil, Pink Marble of Portugal and Green Marble of India.• 1998 Mircea Bochis organize the first edition of Sculpture Camp 'Carbunar 98' Maramures (Romania).At the first edition is participating the following artists: Aurelian Bolea, Mihai Istudor, Ion Deac Bistrita , Laurentiu Mogosanu, Mircea Bochis. Mircea Bochis has realized one monumental sculpture. Work materials was : White Marble of Ruschita.• 1999 Mircea Bochis organized the second edition of Sculpture Camp - in marble - 'Carbunar '99', Maramures (Romania). At this camp Mircea Bochis has inviting the following artists: Aurelian Bolea, Aurel Olteanu, Radu Dumitru, Dinu Campeanu, Mira Nicolae. The thema of this edition was 'The Nud and the Angel' • Mircea Bochis organize 1999 International Small Engraving Saloon Florean Museum •
