- Biografia
- E’ nato a Temse, Belgio, il
21 febbraio del 1969.
- Ha frequentato vari corsi alla scuola d’arte
Sint-Lucas a Gent.
- Opera con lo pseudonimo di "Sztuka
Fabryka". Fa disegni, collage digitale,
timbri-francobolli-banconote d’artista, ATC, adesivi e gadgets, fanzine
ed altro.
- Dal 1988 organizza ogni anno in primavera a St.
Niklaas (Belgio) il Festival Independent Music & Arts con musica,
video, performance e Mail Art con mostra di un giorno durante la quale
mailartisti belgi (come Guido Vermeulen, Berndt Reichert, Frips, Marc
Coene, Luc Fierens, Johan Van Geluwe, Jose Vandenbroucke, Micheline
Vanderbeke) incontrano mailartisti da molte parti del mondo (per esempio
Giancarlo Da Lio dall’ Italia, Reid Wood e Buz Blurr dagli USA, Dawn
Redwood dall’Inghilterra, Henning Mittendorf e Karl F. Hacker dalla
Germania, Remy Penard e Pascal Lenoir dalla Francia, Ko de Jonge e Ad
Breedveld dall’Olanda, Colette e Gunther Ruch dalla Svizzera).
- Nel maggio 1995 crea 'Sztuka Fabryka Gallery',
(www.sztuka-fabryka.be),
sito web sulla Mail Art, versione elettronica del suo archivio.
- Ha curato alcuni progetti di Mail Art.
- Dall’agosto 2001 è editore di "Mail-Art
Encyclopaedia", progetto senza scadenza online, ricerca nella
storia della Mail Art.
- Ha fondato "Hotel Volzet" osservatorio su quanto
accade sull’arte alternativa, con Bart Warnier e Nico Van Cleemput, con
i quali organizza il Festival Independent Music & Arts.

Since its creation in 1988, the "Independent Arts"-Festival has
grown into an international known event for any form of creativity
and to create a meeting place where Belgian Mailartists (as Guido
Vermeulen, Berndt Reichert, Frips, Marc Coene, Luc Fierens, Johan
Van Geluwe, Jose Vandenbroucke, Micheline Vanderbeke) meet
international Mailartists (as Giancarlo Da Lio from Italy, Reid Wood

On May 1995 the first issue of the "Sztuka Fabryka Gallery"
(www.sztuka-fabryka.be) went on the internet, website about
Mail-Art.

This website is the electronic version of the Sztuka Fabryka
Archive.Curator of several international Mail-Art projects with
exhibition one day long at the Festival.Editor and publisher of the
"Mail-Art Encyclopaedia", an online ongoing project since August
2001.

The "Mail-Art Encyclopaedia" is a research in the history of
Mail-Art.

"Hotel Volzet" is an art organisation with its roots in
international networks. It is founded by Geert De Decker with Bart
Warnier and Nico Van Cleemput and they together organize the yearly
"Independent Arts"-Festival.
